Homemade Chicken Banh Mi Sandwich

Hey Everyone!
Coming at you today with a different type of Chicken Sandwich.
This sandwich is called Banh Mi..

What is Banh Mi, you ask?

It's a Vietnamese sandwich consisting of a baguette filled with a variety of ingredients, typically including meat, pickled vegetables, and chili peppers and I some even add pate'.

If you've ever eaten them, you'd want them with everything, I promise.

Only thing I couldn't find was pate' and was in NO MOOD to make any.
LOL!

It's Sooooo Good!!!!
I can eat one now, just looking at the picture..
But I Digress....



You can got to Wal-Mart, your local bakery and get the baguette or do what I did and make them yourself.

Ingredients for Sandwich
Radishes
Carrots
Cilantro
Cucumbers
Jalapenos
1 TBS Apple Cider Vinegar

Rolls or Baguettes

3 Chicken Breast
2 tsp. 5 Spice Seasoning

S/P

Ingredients for Sauce
2 tsp. Housin Sauce
1 Cup Mayo
1/8 Cup Siracha

First let's make the sauce.
You need the Siracha, Mayo and Housin Sauce.

Mix all together...
Refrigerate


In a separate bowl grate radishes, carrots and spread apple cider vinegar on veggies.
Refrigerate...



Season Chicken Breast and cook until done.


While the chicken is cooking, slice up the jalapenos, cilantro, and cucumbers.   


After there done, thinly slice the chicken.

Preheat oven 375 degrees

Cut bread half way open and scoop out top part of the bread.
Take sauce out of refrigerator and smear the mayo sauce on bread.
On place in oven for about 5 minutes or until it looks toasted.




First, layer sliced chicken at the bottom, then layer cucumbers, radish/carrots mixer, then jalapeno on top of that. On the other side of the bread place the cilantro scoop out top of he bread.

OMG!!!!!!!

This sandwich satisfies every sense you have.
Seriously!!

I pair mine with a nice cold beer..
